For decades scientists and any semi-conscious observer has been aware of and warning of "global warming"

The politicos and their bed mates, the corporate control, who profit directly proportionally to the amount of

unrestrained pollution, have hemmed and hawed and drag their collective feet to squeeze every last dollar

out of  their choice of GREED over continued human existence, have (I believe) brought the WORLD past

the point of return. I don't think humans can any longer implement policies and actions that can even stop

the slide, to say nothing of a reversal!

   "Mother Earth" has begun to adjust to the pollution and mankind's choice of "future be damned, I'm getting

mine now"......the icecaps are breaking up and melting the glaciers are melting and retreating. The Earth will

look very different as the oceans begin to rise. I don't think Donald Trump's Manhattan real estate will be as

precious by boat!

What can be done to education to change from a model of Test score
competition (because your life and economic future depend on it)...
to a broad base creative exposure, with an emphasis on finding what really motivates the individual to seek further knowledge of something, because they are curious?
At the same time can we not emphasize harmonious, peaceful cooperation for the common good and advancement of all, instead of the greed model of get all you can at whatever cost to others?

Speaking of GREED...... what if the Army was a rapid deployment force that delivered food, built shelters and schools, water and electric systems, planted crops with the people and then left to find another spot in need of assistance. Give someone a break instead of breaking them. Tell the local thugs and power mongers they're welcome to share if they want to help.
